Abstract

This study discusses the application of audio-visual learning media through YouTube videos, which were carried out in class VII B SMPN 1 Lenteng Timur, using a qualitative descriptive type of approach, data collection was carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation techniques, while the validity of the data used through techniques source triangulation and technique triangulation. The objectives to be obtained in this study are to find out how the application of learning through audio-visual-based media uses video, and to increase student activity in learning through audio-visual-based media. The results obtained show that the application of learning using video media has two stages, namely the planning stage and the implementation stage. or those that have been planned at the planning stage. Then the second result was obtained that applying video-based media could increase the learning activity of class VII B SMPN Lenteng with an overall percentage of activity of 71.8%, which means that almost all activities are said to be fulfilled properly.
